Cheshire Lanes and Tatton Park
Published 30 March 2012
Not too long, mostly flat, and passing through some great scenery - this route has it all.
This 18.6 km easy route starts in the idyllic village of Ashley before taking in a combination of Cheshire lanes, roads and tracks through Tatton Park. Our ride uses part of the Cheshire Cycleway – a firm favourite with North West cyclists. This exploration of the beautiful countryside of South Manchester is a stunning bike ride. There are ample opportunites to park in Ashley – anybody choosing the spacious car park at the Greyhound pub should seek permission first. Suitable for road bikes and mountain bikes.
