Milton Keynes is a great place to cycle, and now there are even more opportunities to get out and about on your bike in the area.

This year Milton Keynes is hosting a big Sky Ride City event, a series of friendly neighbourhood Sky Ride Local rides, Breeze bike rides for women, and more. They’re all free to join, and it’s easy to register.

The Breeze network from British Cycling is all about fun, local bike rides for women, by women – and there’s a whole range of support and training too.

Clubs

British Cycling can help you to find a club that’s right for you. Use the club finder link to find a club near you. There are some great cycling clubs in Milton Keynes who will be happy for you to come along and ride with them, including:

Team Milton Keynes
Team MK is an exciting club for cyclists, triathletes and duathletes. 

Milton Keynes Cycling Association
Formed in 1982 to promote cycle racing and events in the Milton Keynes Area, MKCA organises and co-ordinates events at the Milton Keynes Bowl promoting the long standing Thursday night series and helping other local clubs and organisations to promote events at the venue.

MK BMX Club
The club has consistently achieved good results – it has usually ranked in the top four clubs (out of around 40 in the UK) in both the National Series and British Championships, and it's produced a number of very successful riders including several national champions.
 
Cyclone Mountain Biking Club
The club rides every Sunday in Aspley Guise woods next to Woburn Sands and also organises a number of 'away' rides.  

Training

Sportive

Milton Keynes Council offers a cycle training scheme to schools within the town. All pupils completing the course will be fully trained to Level 2 within the National Standards.

Milton Keynes is a fantastic place to cycle. With over 290km of redways and over 60km of leisure routes in Milton Keynes, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy a bike ride. British Cycling works with Milton Keynes Council to promote a range of opportunities for people to get involved with cycling whatever their age, ability or interest in cycling.
