Sky Ride Leeds is back – for one last lap!
This year it’s your final chance to experience your city on two wheels with Sky Ride – and we want to make it the best yet. Join thousands of other cyclists as we take to the streets of Leeds for an unforgettable traffic-free ride through the city.
We’ll be spreading the cycling love with lots of free things to do on the day – style your bike at our ‘Tricks & Tunes’ area, take part in our cycling game shows, grab your free Sky Ride bib and get snapped in our photo booth.
Register for Sky Ride Leeds and you’ll be entitled to a free expert bike check (worth £14.99) at Halfords – perfect to get you all set for the big day.

Need to hire a bike for Sky Ride Leeds? Cycle Leeds will have a choice of adults and children’s bikes available at the Bike Hire gazebo on Great George Street. Bikes may be hired for a maximum of 1.5 hours and are available on a first come, first served basis. There is no hire fee but photographic ID is required.
Getting there by bike
If you’re travelling from the west of the city, the new CityConnect Cycle Superhighway is open and offers a safe and convenient way of arriving by bike and will take you in to the city via Armley Road, or alternatively, the Aire Valley canal towpath provides traffic free access to the city centre. The CityConnect Cycle Superhighway also provides a segregated cycle track from the east of the city with the route following the A64 York Road. The Leeds Core Cycle Network provides quiet routes in from the north and the south of the city, and maps are available here.
