Women only Breeze Rides are all about fun, friendly, informal bike rides led by women, for women. They're ideal for all abilities and are great for building confidence and getting some gentle exercise. You might not have ridden a bike for a while and be looking for the easiest way to get back in the saddle, or be looking for a sociable way of getting out and about in your local area. Breeze rides are gently-paced, not too long, and often take in a stop for coffee or a cake. Kids are welcome to come along too.

Breeze Bike Rides in Bradford

This is an easy ride along the towpath to Toby's Tea Rooms near Apperley Bridge, with a very short stretch of quiet road at Dockfield.


Newcomers to Breeze are always welcome and no one will get left behind - we ride at the pace of the slowest rider.


Please bring along a drink and a snack - Toby's SHOULD be open, but one never knows.


All you need is a roadworthy bike, sensible clothing and a bit of enthusiasm. A helmet though not essential, is recommended and it helps to have a spare inner tube of the correct size - just in case.

  • Judy Robinson Judy Robinson I may not be the youngest kid on the block, but riding my bike again after so many years has certainly made me feel it. I don't go fast or far, but my aim is to get more women out cycling, share the fun that I'm having and get fitter in the process.
