Join Breeze as we work through the Route Cards from Darlington's Local Motion project to encourage more people to get active and consider sustainable forms of transport.
You will get your very own waterproof route card simply for attending!
All routes follow cycle paths and quiet roads in and around Darlington. More specific details of each weeks route to follow.
All abilities and bike types are welcome. Please wrap up warm; layers/gloves etc ... yet as always a hot coffee stop will be incorporated on the ride.

Route 6. Firthmoor and Lingfield.
This route takes in much of the industrial areas surrounding Morton Palms. The majority of the route is off road with some shorter on road sections.
There is one steep incline (Victoria Road – which brings you to the back of the Train Station). This is at the beginning of the rides to get us to the start point of route 6. Once we have got our breath intact – we will then cycle to Lingfield Point using cycle paths and quiet roads. This will bring us to Eastbourne Transporter Corridor (a favourite of mine!) and onto the roads leading to Eastbourne Sports Complex and back towards town (enjoying the decline that we climbed up at the beginning)!
