Breeze Bike Rides in North Norfolk

This is a gentle ride along country lanes exploring the surrounding areas. We really welcome newcomers to our rides; we will always ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind It’s a good idea to bring some water, snack to keep you going and money for if we stop at a cafe. Wearing a helmet is advisable; if you don’t have one please do not to worry you can still take part. If you enjoy the bike ride and would like to come again perhaps you could look to buy one then. Getting to the Olive Branch. From Norwich Tunstead is about 10 1/2 miles north of Norwich. From Norwich, take the A1151 Sprowston Road until you reach Hoveton. Take the B1354 Horning Road and after a short while, turn right onto Market Street. From the Norfolk Coast (e.g. Cromer) The Olive Branch is about 16 miles from Cromer. Take the A149 down through North Walsham. Leave North Walsham on the B1150 Norwich Road. Turn left onto Tunstead Road and continue on to Market Street. The Olive Branch is about 22 miles from Great Yarmouth and just 4 miles from Wroxham. We have plenty of parking. Look forward to seeing you there!

Meet the Champions

  • Melanie Holyoake
Melanie Holyoake I am a relatively new cyclist myself but have definitely got the bug. I bought my first 'proper' bike a year ago and haven't look back, riding a light weight road bike is amazing, you feel like someone is giving you a push. I became a Breeze Champion earlier this year to encourage other women to get on their bikes, no matter what type of bike or at what speed they prefer. All Breeze rides go at a gently pace so before you know it, you have ridden further than you thought and made new friends along the way. Come and join me and get some fresh air (sometimes a little rain!) and meet other ladies wanting to keep fit and just get out there x
