Meet the Ride Leaders

  • Mitchell Davis Mitchell Davis Hi everybody my name is Mitch.
I got into cycling five years also ago, and never looked back. I started when Skyride Local was formed. It is a great way to get back on your bike and involve your family, as my kids enjoy the many rides they are still doing. I enjoy road riding and going off road getting really muddy.
I am now going in to my 2nd year as a Ride Leader and looking forward to meeting you all on the next ride.
  • Neil Newman Neil Newman Hi
My name is Neil. I have cycled since i was a child and still cycle to work each day. I have done lots of charity rides all over the country in that time, my personal best being John O’Groats to Lands End in ten days which i did in 2010 .
This is my first year as a SKY Ride Leader and I’m really looking forward to getting out there and meeting new people and encouraging more people to cycle.
Hope to see you all soon
    Neil
  • Lorraine Doran Lorraine Doran Hi my name is Lorraine. I have cycled for many years and really enjoy both the fitness side of cycling and the social side. I am a senior road safety officer for Solihull Council and I am very lucky that part of my remit is to deliver bikeability to adults and students who live and work in Solihull. I am an accredited train the trainer and have also successfully completed Level One of MIAS (mountain bike instructor course). I have been a Breeze champion for British Cycling for twelve months and have met lots of lovely people. So come along to a ride and I look forward to meeting you to.
