Thursday 24th April 2014 at 6.00pm This is what time the ride will set off. It’s best to get to the starting point at least 15 minutes beforehand to avoid missing the start.

Overall Duration On a long ride, it’s sometimes good to have a little break in the middle, or maybe a catch up at the beginning or end to keep it sociable. This means that the overall ride duration may be longer than the actual cycling time.

Breeze Bike Rides in Sheffield

A short, but steady evening ride suitable for ladies who are gaining confidence in on road cycling or want to improve on slight steady climbs mixed with flattish smooth roads. 

All styles of bikes are welcome (I will be on my hybrid bike). Whilst helmets arent compulsory for adults it is advisory to wear a helmet.  Please also bring bike locks, spare inner tubes, and wear warm comfortable clothing suited to the weather. Bike lights are also advisable due to the changable sunset times and weather conditions this time of year.


As I intend to do Two laps of Dam Flask, it is also advisable to bring a drink with you.  A short refreshments session will be offered at the end of the ride, at the Admiral Rodney given we will have used the car park. Please check parking restrictions.

Upon meeting at the Admiral Rodney a short bike check and warm up will take place, please arrive 10 mins before the advertised set off time. on leaving the car park we will be on the road.

    Janine Morrall Hi! My name is Janine, Ive been back on the bike for 5 years now. I trained as a ride leader in April 2013, and followed this up in March 2014, by completing the route planning course. I completed my first Coast to Coast ride, doing the way of the Roses route in May 2014. I'm currently training for a 100k Hilly Sportive, in the Lake District next May. I am fun, friendly, very sociable and caring person! I look forward to seeing and meeting you on my rides!
