Breeze Bike Rides in Brighton

Join us on a brisk spin along the seafront to Worthing. We’ll head out along National Cycle Network Route 2 via Shoreham and along past Southwick and Portslade. At Shoreham we cross the lock bridge and over another bridge to Shoreham Beach whilst looking out to the house boats. Then re-join the pretty seafront cycle path past the Widewater at Lancing and on to Worthing for a coffee on the beach.

This is the first of a series of TRAINING RIDES, for women wanting to increase their speed or endurance ready for longer rides in the summer.If you've entered a sportive or challenge ride such as Diva Sussex, Cycletta, or London to Brighton, then this Saturday afternoon series will help you get ready.

This first ride is flat, but may have head winds.

Please bring spare inner tube, layers to keep warm, and water.

    Alison Lewis Hi! I'm Alison, and looking forward to meeting you on one of the Breeze rides I lead from Brighton, Hove, and mid-Sussex. I've ridden bikes on and off ever since it was my transport to secondary school as a teenager. I became more active as a ride leader, coach, and spokeswoman for local cycling issues after a friend had a cycling accident in 2010.
