This Wear it Red led ride will be facilitated by British Cycling Breeze Champions.  Starting at Cossington Sports Centre, the ride will follow a gentle route into Town Hall Square where tea, coffee and cake stalls will be available, provided by British Heart Foundation volunteers.

  • Lindsey Ball
    Lindsey Ball I've been a Breeze Champion since 2011. I am also a Sky Ride Leader and a National Standards Cycle Instructor. I love riding my bike both for commuting and for pleasure, I also enjoy encouraging others to go out cycling as well. There's nothing quite like exploring new routes by bike and the Sky Ride programme and Breeze can help with this. Also, someone once said that you're only ever one bike ride away from a good mood... they were so right :)

    Linda Goddard Hello, I am passionate about encouraging people to get on their bikes. I see Breeze rides and Local Skyrides as a way to do this and to provide fun at the same time. I particularly want to encourage more women to get in the saddle! Cycling is not only a way to get fit, but is also good for the environment. Think of the petrol saved! It is also a social activity, where you can make new friends and be encouraged along by other riders. My aim is to support both new and returning cyclists to gain the confidence to cycle more often. I look forward to meeting you on the rides.

    Indigo Kelly Hi, I really enjoy cycling as it makes me feel good. Whether I cycle for a few miles or loads of miles, it's just good to be out and about. I know it might sound cheesy BUT I love meeting new people and sharing stories - especially funny ones! Whether you are a beginner who would like to have a bit more confidence about getting on your bike or perhaps you are confident about cycling but don't like busy roads or maybe you just want to ride with like-minded women - come along and see what you think. Remember: you will receive a warm welcome and lots of encouragement the riders stick together so that no one gets left behind - we start and finish together the rides will be appropriate to ability levels and can be altered as needed I hope to see you at a ride - when you're ready.
