Breeze Bike Rides in Southend-on-Sea

This is a gentle ride along the seafront cycle path to the bottom of Pier Hill where we will get off and walk up through the town centre to rejoin the cycle track down to Priory Park. Where we will stop for a drink. We will then ride along the Prittlebrook to finish at Darlinghurst School.

Wearing a helmet is advisable; if you don’t have one please do not to worry you can still take part.  If you enjoy the bike ride and would like to come again perhaps you could look to buy one then.  Please note all children under the age of 18 Must wear a helmet.

We really welcome newcomers to our rides; we will always ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind.

Don’t forget…. Breeze are on a mission to spread the word about their rides, and need your help. If you introduce one friend who goes on to take part in a Breeze ride, you’ll receive a Breeze water bottle, introduce a second friend, you’ll be the proud owner of one of their swish Breeze Buffs, and introduce a third friend and Breeze will send you £15 of Love2Shop vouchers. Read the article on the homepage for more information.

For more information on other rides taking place please see our Facebook page Breeze network Southend.

Look forward to seeing you there!

  • Gwen Cook
Gwen Cook I love riding my bike -whether to get to work, to go up to the shops, just for fun, or competing. I also love encouraging others to enjoy riding at a level that suits them. I am a "Go-Ride" (under 16s) Coach with Essex Roads Cycling Club and also at North Street School and want to see more women riding safely and confidently in and around Leigh.
