Rider Comments on the Route

  • Lesley Fuller Monday 5th October My first Sky Ride. I ususally ride with CTC groups who give more instructions on keeping space between groups of 6 riders for cars to pass. There were no reminders on this as we rode despite having 3 leaders. I feel more guidance should be given to improve peoples cycling skills. At one point we crossed a major road with a traffic light without waiting for crossing clearance. We blocked traffic who had green lights. Not a good way to foster better relationships with drivers! On the positive it was a very well planned route, good pace and very pleasant company. I made several contacts and hope to use them to plan social rides locally. Keep up the good work
