Steady If you’re fairly confident on your bike and ready to broaden your cycling horizons, Steady rides are ideal. At a comfortable pace, and possibly with some modest hills along the way, rides take place on mainly quiet roads with plenty of sights along the way.
- Starting Point & Postcode
- Meet at the car park next to Pocklington Grammar School. This will be a short leisurely ride out of Pocklington along Burnby Lane to Burnby. Here we will turn left towards Nunburnholme. A left turn will take us up a short hill to Bratt Wood and on to the Kilnwick Road back to Pocklington and a coffee and cake at one of the cafes. Newcomers are welcome as long as you have a roadworthy bike. Helmets are advisable and a water bottle is essential. If you have questions about the ride please just give me a ring on 07703134034 Val French YO42 4EL
- Overall Duration On a long ride, it’s sometimes good to have a little break in the middle, or maybe a catch up at the beginning or end to keep it sociable. This means that the overall ride duration may be longer than the actual cycling time.
