Breeze Bike Rides in Sedgemoor

Starting from G'Williams carpark, this will be a leisurely 7 mile bike ride along the quiet roads of the Polden Hill Villages, enjoying the fresh air and views.
Passing through Catcott, we will drop down into Burtle, before gently climbing back to G'Williams for a rewarding tea/coffee and maybe a bite to eat.
I will be cycling from Fishermans Car Park, Bawdrip, so if you wanted to add an extra 7 miles to the ride, you can start from Bawdrip with me, but please phone me first, so I know you are starting with me, and can arrange what time we would leave.
We ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind. Newcomers to Breeze rides are very welcome, don't worry if you don't know anyone, we're a friendly bunch.
Dress appropriately for the weather, a rain jacket this time of year is a good idea too! Wearing a helmet is advisable; if you don’t have one please do not to worry you can still take part.  If you enjoy the bike ride and would like to come again perhaps you could look to buy one then. It's a good idea to bring some water.
Look forward to seeing you there!

Meet the Champions

  • Alison Casey Alison Casey Hi I'm Alison
I was in the fitness industry for many years, and due to injury left high impact exercise and took to the bike and never looked back.
I am very passionate about cycling and currently lead out Ladies Breeze Bike Rides, but would like to encourage/inspire ladies, men and children to take to their bikes.
It is a great exercise to enjoy with good company, fresh air, enjoy the lovely countryside Somerset has to offer and a good excuse to eat cake!!
Hope you can join me on one of the rides.
