Breeze Bike Rides in Allerdale
Join us on New Year’s Day for a 14 mile ride from the village of Threlkeld. This will be a great way to start the new year and blow away any cobwebs from the night before. We will be starting after lunch to give you a chance for a new year lie in. We will follow the Coast to Coast route to Scales before joining a quiet country road which takes us to Troutbeck. From here we will rejoin the Coast to Coast route to Mungrisdale before returning to Threlkeld on it.
This ride will be suitable for all abilities; the route is all on good tarmac roads and cycle paths and will be suitable for all bike types. We will always ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind. The aim of the ride is to have a fun sociable ride in the company of other women, build up confidence in our riding in a supportive group environment, as well ask questions about bikes and riding, and make links with others. All welcome and we will not leave anyone behind.
Remember to wear clothes that are comfortable to cycle in. It is a good idea to bring a spare inner tube, a waterproof jacket and a bottle of water. We always recommend that you wear a cycle helmet.
If you have any questions about this ride then you can e mail us at email@example.com or see our Facebook pages for more information:
