Breeze Bike Rides in Newcastle

Come and join us for an early evening ride starting at Newcastle College and heading along the Scotswood Road to join a National Cycle Network route to Newburn. We'll return to the college on the south side of the Tyne crossing the Scotswood Bridge back to Newcastle.

We'll ride at a steady pace so no one is left behind.

This route is mostly on designated cycle routes/pathways and is suited to mountain bikes and hybrid bikes.

You are advised to bring lights for your bike and to wear a helmet.

We'll be leaving promptly at 5.30pm so please try to arrive at the start (car park at the Scotswood Road entrance to the campus) by 5.20pm.

Don’t forget…. Breeze  are on a mission to spread the word about their rides, and need your help. If you introduce one friend who goes on to take part in a Breeze ride, you’ll receive a Breeze water bottle, introduce a second friend, you’ll be the proud owner of one of their swish Breeze Buffs, and introduce a third friend and Breeze will send you £15 of Love2Shop vouchers. Meet the Champions

  • Abby Holder
Abby Holder I got involved with Breeze simply because I wanted to get out on my bike more. Now I ride most days.

It's a great way to discover new routes and meet other women who cycle.
