Breeze Bike Rides in West Berkshire

This is a pleasant and sociable evening spin around Greenham Common. Greenham Common has a network of well-maintained gravel paths along fairly flat terrain, if a little exposed sometimes.

Helmets and suitable clothing are recommended, especially as it can cool down quite quickly. The gravel paths can lead to punctures so carrying spare inner tubes is also recommended! We will be riding for approximately 8 miles. Please have lights on our bike as well, as it is getting dark by the time the ride finishes.

We will meet at the car park at the junction of Pinchinton Lane and Greenham Road. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me via email (hlcater@yahoo.co.uk)    or by mobile 07958928316.

Looking forward to seeing you there!

Don’t forget…. Breeze are on a mission to spread the word about their rides, and need your help. If you introduce one friend who goes on to take part in a Breeze ride, you’ll receive a Breeze water bottle, introduce a second friend, you’ll be the proud owner of one of their swish Breeze Buffs, and introduce a third friend and Breeze will send you £15 of Love2Shop vouchers. Meet the Champions

  • Heather Cater Heather Cater Hello,
I love cycling, of all types on all bikes and have done since I was little. Whether its on road or off road or both. I used to take my girls bike out onto the local BMX track! I also love exploring and finding new routes, and being on a bike means I get to explore even further. I'd love to share my bike rides with other ladies and encourage more people to get out there on their bikes and see the countryside. We have the best cycling environment in Newbury with Greenham Common on one side, the Ridgeway just to the North and the Kennet and Avon Canal in the middle. Something for everyone, whatever the weather. I hope you can join me.
  • Debbie Martin Debbie Martin I gave mountain biking a try about 3 years ago when I got serious withdrawal symptoms from skiing and now I'm hooked!
Greenham Common is my local place to cycle but I often go to Swinley in Bracknell and also Brechfa and Afan in Wales to try and improve my skills and have also been to the Pyrenees & Alps.
I would love to get more women interested in cycling as it's lonely out here on my bike!
When I'm not biking I like to ski, surf and do yoga.
