Breeze Bike Rides in Bristol

Route details below - two options now on meeting up:8.45-9am at Tobacco Factory (entance to car park on Raleigh Road)
OR 9-9.15am at Roll for the Soul on Nelson Street.  We will bring groups together at Roll for the Soul and aim to leave at 9.15.
If you want pre-ride coffee Roll for the Soul probably for you but if you need to park for free the residential streets around Tobacco Factory are probably easier (DO NOT park in the Aldi car park it's 2 hours only).
Route takes us down the Bristol-Bath bike path, meeting up with the two tunnels path (all traffic free) then we will come back through the tunnels, back to Saltford on the bike path and down to Chew Lake (where there is a tea shop).  Approx 40-45 miles.
Please make sure you bring suitable refreshments, drinks and spare tube etc.

Meet the Champions

  • Nicola Waterworth Nicola Waterworth I am a ride leader and Breeze Champion leading rides that are mainly women-only in Bristol. I organise rides that range from 5 miles to 60, at a range of paces and levels. I am also a trained Level 2 Cycling Coach so can offer advice and tips on improving your cycling.

    I enjoy meeting all the women who come on the Breeze rides, talking to them about cycling and helping them find buddies, cycling groups and rides that suit them. I am also a big fan of stopping for a good cuppa and occasional piece of cake!

    For myself, I enjoy long solo rides, the sense of achievement a good hill climb brings, exploring new place by bike, summer evening rides with friends or my dad in the Dales and attempting very novice and not terribly good cyclo-cross.
