- Overall Duration On a long ride, it’s sometimes good to have a little break in the middle, or maybe a catch up at the beginning or end to keep it sociable. This means that the overall ride duration may be longer than the actual cycling time.

Breeze Bike Rides in Mendip
This is the last one of this 15 mile route on a Monday evening, although I may use this route again later on in the year.
This is an undulating & pretty 15 mile route on a mixture of B roads & lanes. Some of the route may have traffic on it in the early evening.
This route is great for those of you who are ready to try a few gentle hills – you don’t have to be able to get up them all in one go & no one will be left behind.
This route is suitable for all types of road suitable bikes – ideally with 26inch wheels or larger & some gears (experience single speed users also welcome!)
The route starts from Live2Ride bike shop on Waterloo, Frome (the Cork Street car park is opposite – or just across the Jenson Button bridge from the Market Place car park)
We will start along the Route 24 path along the river & then go through to the Stonebridge estate to Clink. Then up to Chapmanslade & down into Westbury Leigh. Then we meander through quiet lanes through Penleigh, Brokerswood, Rudge & through to Beckington. There back onto slightly busier roads up through Beckington to Oldford & through Spring Gardens back to the shop.
This route is ideal for women who are cycling short rides fairly regularly but would like to take on a longer ride or for women who want to start doing hillier routes.
We really welcome newcomers to our rides; we will always ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind.
Look forward to seeing you there.
