Breeze Bike Rides in Northamptonshire

This is a lovely country lane route of 40 miles with a stop at Harrold Country Park for coffee & cake, this faster ride is suitable for road bikes only, expected pace 13-15mph adv.

It's a good idea to bring some water, especially if it's warm.   Please also bring some money if you want to buy refreshments at the cafe.

Wearing a helmet is advisable; if you don’t have one please do not to worry you can still take part.  If you enjoy the bike ride and would like to come again perhaps you could look to buy one then. Please ensure you have a puncture kit for your bike.

Please ensure a mobile number is provided in case the road is cancelled due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

We are a friendly bunch and really welcome newcomers to our rides!

Look forward to seeing you there!

Meet the Champions

  • Liane Higham
Liane Higham Hi, I have been cycling for a few years now and love it, I have completed Sportives in the UK & abroad including Cape Argus, P2P & C2C. I ride a Road Bike & 29'r MTB bike as well as a tourer/crosser for coaching and have a lovely vintage Raleigh. I really love getting more people out on their bikes to have some fun, get fitter & feel great. I qualified as a Breeze Champion May '12 and lead regular rides for a great group & have 'newbies out most weeks! My entry level rides are great for those who own but rarely ride their bikes due to lack of confidence and worries about traffic/fitness etc. Our rides are mainly on cycle paths and country lanes around Northampton & always involve a coffee & cake! I also lead Breeze & Skyrides in Bucks & Beds and last winter offered entry level MTB skills rides with Get_Mtb. My day job is as a cycle coach teaching Bikeability in Northants Schools, I am currently looking at attaining the Go-Ride coaching qualification too. Really looking forward to my Breeze touring/camping holiday again this year as well!
