We welcome all ages, but adults wishing to bring children along under 5 may do so providing they are secured in a BS standard child seat or trailer.

Not cycled for a while and looking for an easy way to get back in the saddle? Fancy a fun way to get your friends or kids riding? Our Easygoing rides are great for building confidence for all abilities and ages along relaxed, mostly traffic-free routes. They’re up to six miles long, with a gentle pace of around six miles an hour.

This 6 mile ride takes in the world-famous sights of breezy Blackpool promenade. Flat, fun and traffic-free, this cheeky seaside route has plenty of iconic sights, including the famous promenade itself, the enormous Norbreck Castle Hotel, the North Pier, Blackpool's unmistakable tower and the futuristic white towers of the offshore wind farm.

Additional Information

Helmets must be worn by all under 18's regardless of ride level.
All ages are welcome but age 5 and under must be in a BSA approved child seat, trailer or tag-a-long.
All rides leave at the time stated you must arrive early Ride Leaders will not wait.

  • Tom Leivers Tom Leivers I'm a Go-Ride Coach and Bikeability Instructor so I'm really enthusiastic about getting people, young and not so young, onto bikes and enjoying the health and social benefits cycling can bring whatever your ability. I enjoy riding for pleasure and have ridden most of the lanes and roads in the Fylde and surrounding area over the years- and a few further afield. I do the occasional Sportive and Charity Ride when time allows to do the training and if I can't answer your cycling query I'll find someone who can.

  • Gina Kitchin Gina Kitchin I work full time in a special educational needs school. I work with pupils aged 4 - 16.
    Within my role at school I organise cycle training and run a bike club after school. I am also trained to use and coach users of adapted bikes.
    I cycle regularly at the weekend and prefer a leisurely cycle ride.
    I completed my Level 1 British Cycling Coaching Certificate earlier this year and am hoping to complete my Level 2 British Cycle coaching award in 2011.
    I have recently started cycling to work every day and am enjoying the exercise, fresh air and often the rain too!
