Not cycled for a while and looking for an easy way to get back in the saddle? Fancy a fun way to get your friends or kids riding? Our Easygoing rides are great for building confidence for all abilities and ages along relaxed, mostly traffic-free routes. They’re up to six miles long, with a gentle pace of around six miles an hour.

Welcome to Blackpool's newest high-speed family attraction!  Everybody is welcome on this ride around this wonderful new purpose built closed road circuit.  Each ride around the circuit is 1km.  With the great cycling surface and nice long straights this ride is perfect for an easy hour on the bike.

Palatine Cycle Circuit is an inclusive ride, so whatever your ability please do register to join in the fun. If you require an adapted bike or assistance on the day then please contact Chris Simcock on 01253 478433 or via email at chris.simcock@blackpool.gov.uk

Additional Information

Helmets must be worn by all under 18's regardless of ride level.
All ages are welcome but age 5 and under must be in a BSA approved child seat, trailer or tag-a-long.
All rides leave at the time stated you must arrive early Ride Leaders will not wait.

    Peter Jack I am a regular cycle commuter, cycling from Blackpool to Preston most days.
    Also I am a club cyclist with Cleveleys Road Club & a road commissire with British Cycling.

    Gina Kitchin I work full time in a special educational needs school. I work with pupils aged 4 - 16.
    Within my role at school I organise cycle training and run a bike club after school. I am also trained to use and coach users of adapted bikes.
    I cycle regularly at the weekend and prefer a leisurely cycle ride.
    I completed my Level 1 British Cycling Coaching Certificate earlier this year and am hoping to complete my Level 2 British Cycle coaching award in 2011.
    I have recently started cycling to work every day and am enjoying the exercise, fresh air and often the rain too!

  • Nigel Pawson Saturday 18th June The good points were that the numbers were low, so that we could use the circuit at speed, the bad points were weather based - rain and wind, but that's not the organisers' or leaders' fault. Really glad to have been able to experience this circuit
