Breeze Bike Rides in Huntingdonshire

This will be a longer, faster ride suitable for those who are ready to up the pace a bit but not yet ready for a club ride or big event. Perhaps you're training for something specific, are new to cycling and want to challenge yourself a bit more or just want to burn some calories?

We start in St Neots outside the Eaton Oak pub and cycle out to Bedfordshire through Duloe, Wyboston, Colmworth and back home via Bushmead. These are mainly fairly quiet farm roads and its a really pretty ride.

The loop is about 24 km, just under 15 miles, and we will cycle at the pace of the slowest rider, but will aim to keep an average pace of 14mph so that we're back in time for those who need to do the school run.

• Judy Duddridge I hadn't cycled much at all until 2 years ago. I take part in spin classes in the gym and thought "why am I sitting on a spin bike in a stuffy gym when the sun's shining outside?" so that's when my love of cycling really began! I bought myself a decent bike and then realised that apart from a couple of male friends, who are really experienced riders, I had no one to ride with. I found out about Breeze by searching on the web and Autumn 2011 completed my training to become a ride leader.
  I am hoping that other women will join the rides and come to love cycling as much as I do. I still have so much to learn but I can't believe how much enjoyment I get from something so simple....I wish I'd started cycling years ago!
