Women only
Breeze Rides are all about fun, friendly, informal bike rides led by women, for women. They're ideal for all abilities and are great for building confidence and getting some gentle exercise. You might not have ridden a bike for a while and be looking for the easiest way to get back in the saddle, or be looking for a sociable way of getting out and about in your local area. Breeze rides are gently-paced, not too long, and often take in a stop for coffee or a cake. Kids are welcome to come along too.

Breeze Bike Rides in Wandsworth
We'll meet on Wandsworth Common, opposite the Bolingbroke Academy at the corner of Wakehurst Road and Bolingbroke Grove.
Then we’ll go over Wandsworth Common and downhill to Earlsfield, from where we take the mostly traffic-free Wandle Trail to pretty Morden Hall Park. There’ll be a chance to see the Parks' wetlands, streams and beautiful scenery.
We’ll then head back using quiet roads and climb gently uphill through Furzedown and Tooting Graveney onto Tooting Bec Common. The Common is another traffic-free stretch before returning through Balham for our end-of-ride cafe stop at Pintus Cafe and Delicatessen on the Northcote Road.
The ride is best suited to hybrids and mountain bikes as the Wandle Trail and Morden Hall Park stretches are un-surfaced with loose stones, and are muddy and full of puddles after rain.
The ride is mostly flat with a short slow climb up to Tooting Bec Common towards the end of the ride. Please feel free to get off your bike and push at this point.
Please come equipped for the weather, waterproofs if it's wet, full finger gloves, warm socks, scarf and a buff or something to cover your ears under your helmet if it's cold.
Wearing a helmet is advisable; if you don’t have one please do not to worry you can still take part.
Please bring some money and your bicycle lock if you want to buy refreshments at the end of the ride.
Look forward to seeing you there!
