Breeze Rides are all about fun, friendly, informal bike rides led by women, for women. They're ideal for all abilities and are great for building confidence and getting some gentle exercise. You might not have ridden a bike for a while and be looking for the easiest way to get back in the saddle, or be looking for a sociable way of getting out and about in your local area. Breeze rides are gently-paced, not too long, and often take in a stop for coffee or a cake. Kids are welcome to come along too.

Breeze Bike Rides in Wirral
Join us on this nice ride from New Brighton to Eastham Ferry and back
This is a gentle flat ride along the coast from New Brighton to Eastham and back to New Brighton - all flat and great views across to Liverpool around 20 miles round trip at a gentle pace.
If you are coming by train there are regular train services to New Brighton from across the Wirral and Liverpool every 15 mins, we shall be returning near to the station after the ride. Arriva trains have cycle accommodation in the carriages if you need to travel with your bike.
Our ride will start at New Brighton, cycling along the coastal route to Seacombe Ferry, onto Woodside, passing the Famous Birkenhead Priory, along onto Rock Park through New Ferry and onto Eastham Ferry and Country Park.
Eastham Country Park is situated on the Wirral bank of the River Mersey and provides superb views across the estuary with its abundant birdlife. The 100 acres of broadleaf woodland offers opportunities for peaceful walks, bird watching and orienteering. A network of surfaced paths provide access throughout the woodland.
A Visitor Information Centre, Rangers office and toilets are situated in the courtyard adjacent to the main carpark and there is the Tea Garden which serves refreshments and snacks during spring and summer. Two public houses are situated on the riverfront.
The Eastham Country Park Rangers are based in the courtyard close to the Visitor Centre. The role of the Rangers is to help you enjoy your visit and to manage the park for the benefit of both visitors and wildlife.
Women and children (over age of 14) are welcome on this ride
Newcomers to Breeze rides are very welcome, don't worry if you don't know anyone, we're a friendly bunch. Dress appropriately for the weather: in cool weather it's good to wear lots of thin layers, so you can add/remove them as needed; a rain jacket is a good idea too
If you need to ask any questions please call me on 07729 114055 or email me at sara.braidwood@sky.com
Wearing a helmet is advisable; if you don’t have one please do not to worry you can still take part. If you enjoy the bike ride and would like to come again perhaps you could look to buy one then.
Look forward to seeing you there!
