  • Reuben Millward
Reuben Millward Hello and thanks for your interest in the superb Skyride programme to bring cycling to your life and city, town and country and hopefully the world. Cycling, drumming, music and photography are my main passions. I also work full time in adult mental health facilitating mental health and well-being workshops and delivering freelance Scotland's mental health first aid training Scotland wide. I enjoy road and mountain biking and have cycled in London and Glasgow since the age of seven, for sport, pleasure and charity and as a mode of transport. I commute to work when possible and I'm committed to promoting city cycling as a greener/ healthier option for all and making cities and the public far more cycle friendly. I also organize cycling events in my profession in promoting well-being and health generally. Road cycling is my main activity at present and I have completed my accreditation at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome in Glasgow. I have completed the British Cycling Off-Road endorsement at Whitelee Wind Farm, which was an excellent opportunity to build on my existing Sky ride leadership skills and knowledge. I cycled with the Glasgow mountain bike club since 1997-2008. I have cycled in the Islands of Scotland, the Lakes in England and France and Spain off road. I have much experience of leading rides and the issues that arise on Skyrides having led rides in Glasgow since 2009. I am committed to the Sky Ride programme as I have seen and participated in many successful rides with positive feedback from participants of all ages and clear evidence of cyclists building their confidence through the scheme. I also feel proud to be supported and backed by British Cycling and Sky. I look foward to meeting you for a sky ride on a sunny day in Glasgow or maybe somewhere else in the UK. Cheers Reuben Millward
