Women only
Breeze Rides are all about fun, friendly, informal bike rides led by women, for women. They're ideal for all abilities and are great for building confidence and getting some gentle exercise. You might not have ridden a bike for a while and be looking for the easiest way to get back in the saddle, or be looking for a sociable way of getting out and about in your local area. Breeze rides are gently-paced, not too long, and often take in a stop for coffee or a cake. Kids are welcome to come along too.

Breeze Bike Rides in Durham
Sorry but this ride has been cancelled because of the bad weather - it will be re-arranged
Due to winter weather we’ve modified our popular ride along the Lanchester Valley railway path. This time we’ll stop at the Kings Arms at Lanchester for refreshments and then retrace our ride back to Broompark. It will be a total distance of approx 14 miles.
We’ll aim to take the ride at a reasonable pace, but we’ll always ride at the pace of the slowest rider and will not leave anyone behind. A mountain or hybrid bike is recommended.
Please dress appropriately for cold weather; warm gloves, thick socks, lots of warm layers and a waterproof are a must. It’s also a good idea to bring a drink /snack and some cash for refreshments.
As we are currently experiencing severe winter weather; when you register please can you supply your mobile no & e-mail address? Then, if we find it necessary to postpone or change the ride, we are able to contact you at short notice.
It would also be useful if you have a spare inner tube; it’s much quicker to replace a tube than repair a puncture…our aim is to keep riding and keep warm.
Wearing a helmet is compulsory.
If you have any questions please contact Sylvia on 07591 472182
We look forward to you joining us on our first Breeze ride this year
