Breeze Bike Rides in Eastleigh

This is a gentle ride around Chandlers Ford. The route is a perfect flat easy ride for new and regular cyclists, with plenty to see along the way. Our pace will be slow and steady to allow us to get to know each other and admire the views. The route is circular and we’ll use mainly cycle paths and quiet lanes. 


We'll always ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no-one is left behind.   Any type of bike is suitable as long as it's in reasonable working order.


There's a nice cafe near the station where we can end the ride with coffee or tea and cake, so please bring some money.


It's a good idea to bring some water and you may also want to bring a snack.  Please dress appropriately for the weather.


Wearing a helmet is advisable; if you don’t have one please do not to worry you can still take part.  If you enjoy the bike ride and would like to come again perhaps you could look to buy one then. 


We really welcome newcomers to our rides; we will always ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind.

  • Mary Wallbank Mary Wallbank I ride regularly with the local CTC riders, (which is about 50% women) and sometimes lead these rides. I enjoy the social aspect of cycling to keep fit.
  • Heather Evans Heather Evans Hi my name is Heather, I love getting around on my bike and enjoy teaching children, young people and adults Bikeability. I'm very keen that more women and children learn to have fun and get around safely and confidently on their bikes. I am currently developing cycle tours and led rides around the Winchester area.
