Challenging rides on the road for adults onlyIf you’ve been riding a road bike for a while, and perhaps been thinking about joining a cycling club, these rides – brand new for 2012 – are for you. The prospect of a speedy pace over twenty to fifty miles, and the strong likelihood of some hills thrown in along the way, means our Ride Strong Plus rides are not for the faint-hearted.

This 30 mile ride has a bit of everything and will satisfy the more committed cyclist looking for a challenge. The ride starts and finishes at Cannon Hill Park, just off Edgbaston Road. Meet the Ride Leaders

  • Mir Zaman
Mir Zaman Hello everyone, I've been involved with these rides both as a participant and as Ride Leader for a few years now. I enjoy cycling in general to keep fit and try to include a long ride at least once in the week. As for this ride - I look forward to meeting you and sharing the same cycling experience. We'll have some fun out on two wheels, get to know some new areas or two and embrace the early morning 'fresh air' for a change... Ride well with care and remember to make a point of being 'seen' if riding on the road..!!!
  • Robert Day
Robert Day Hi my name is Rob and i have been cycling now for around seven years and i love it. To be honest i think it's the best way to getting fit and you don't have to go mad. I am keen cyclist and enjoy getting out on my bike whenever I can. I heard about Sky ride five years ago and was keen to get involved, so hear I am...three years just sitting back and enjoying the countryside and learning new routes and this will be my second year as a Sky ride leader. I get out most days come rain or shine but not the snow, i have completed two 100 mile sportive's for Cancer research and enjoyed it so much i'm doing it again soon. I'm looking forward to meeting fellow cyclists and seeing the sights of Warwickshire and surrounding areas.
