Breeze Bike Rides in Milton Keynes

In conjunction with Corley Cycles this is a road ride for the stronger cyclist amongst you Breeze ladies.

Leaving the shop we will take a route out through the Buckinghamshire villages, on relatively quiet roads, to Jennie Wren’s Tea Rooms in Winslow for a half way café stop before returning to Corley Cycles.

Please note that the aim is for an average speed of 15mph.  We don’t run many of these rides, but this time we are catering for the stronger road bike rider.

Locally there are various Breeze rides run for varying levels with shorter distances, as we like to encourage all ladies out on bikes.

As well as the obligatory suitable clothing, depending on the weather; a spare inner tube is a good idea given the state of the roads currently!

Any problems on the day please call Sue on 07872 628430 or Corley Cycles on 01908 311424.

Look forward to seeing you there!

Meet the Champions

  • Sue Skeggs
Sue Skeggs I'm a keen cyclist and will give most rides/events a go, however bad at them I am!

I regularly coach the Youth Development Team at Team Milton Keynes.

I became involved with Breeze as I would love to see more ladies out on their bikes, wherever and however they would like to; so I'm keen to support this by leading some informal rides that will allow us ladies to meet up.

I measure my rides in how many cakes I think I deserve at the end of it!
  • Liane Higham
Liane Higham Hi, I have been cycling for a few years now and love it, I have completed Sportives in the UK & abroad including Cape Argus, P2P & C2C. I ride a Road Bike & 29'r MTB bike as well as a tourer/crosser for coaching and have a lovely vintage Raleigh. I really love getting more people out on their bikes to have some fun, get fitter & feel great. I qualified as a Breeze Champion May '12 and lead regular rides for a great group & have 'newbies out most weeks! My entry level rides are great for those who own but rarely ride their bikes due to lack of confidence and worries about traffic/fitness etc. Our rides are mainly on cycle paths and country lanes around Northampton & always involve a coffee & cake! I also lead Breeze & Skyrides in Bucks & Beds and last winter offered entry level MTB skills rides with Get_Mtb. My day job is as a cycle coach teaching Bikeability in Northants Schools, I am currently looking at attaining the Go-Ride coaching qualification too. Really looking forward to my Breeze touring/camping holiday again this year as well!
