Women only
Breeze Rides are all about fun, friendly, informal bike rides led by women, for women. They're ideal for all abilities and are great for building confidence and getting some gentle exercise. You might not have ridden a bike for a while and be looking for the easiest way to get back in the saddle, or be looking for a sociable way of getting out and about in your local area. Breeze rides are gently-paced, not too long, and often take in a stop for coffee or a cake. Kids are welcome to come along too.

Breeze Bike Rides in Leeds
This is a mainly off road ride for all types of bike on good tracks so mud is not an issue in these winter months. Total ride distance is approx. 8 miles with a pit stop at Temple Newsam tea rooms to warm up and refuel, so do bring some money if you would like to get some refreshments.
We will be going at a leisurely pace which will take us approximately 2 hours, including a break half way round.
Newcomers to Breeze rides as well as those that have completed previous rides are all very welcome. Do make sure you are dressed appropriately for the weather, in cold/wet weather it’s good to wear lots of thin layers, so you can add/remove them as needed and a rain jacket and gloves are a must in the minter months to guard against wind chill.
Wearing a helmet is advisable but if you don’t have one please do not worry you can still take part. If you enjoy the bike ride and would like to come again perhaps you could look to buy one then.
If you are arriving by train Garforth station is the nearest although you will have to lug your bike up the steps to cross the bridge. East Garforth station is an easier option, with slops and is not far away but has less frequent trains.
The ride will go ahead unless the weather is very unfavourable. Please make sure your contact details are correct so that should I need to cancel I can let you know.
Contact number on the day is 07950 444715
I look forward to seeing you there!
