Breeze Bike Rides in Milton Keynes

This is a lovely route starting & finishing at Horn Lane car park, Stony Stratford. The route is approx 10 miles & loops around the Ouse Valley park with a stretch on the canal in between to take in the views from Cosgrove aqueduct. Great views all the way round; this easy-going ride is perfect for a morning's sociable peddle.


The terrain is a mixture of gravel, mud & grass, paved & tarmac paths suitable for most bikes & all levels. Some of the paths can be wet & muddy if it’s been raining. We cross a busy road to start with, then settle into a traffic-free route. We go over some wooden bridges & cattle grids & need to stop for farm gates. We do go through a short, but narrow tunnel, which is just about ok to cycle through.


Children over 10 years old welcome, but should be competent cycling on their own bike without stabilisers for at least 70 mins. We do go along a canal path which can be narrow, so please ensure your child is safe to do this.


It’s perfect for all adult abilities, particularly those who haven't cycled in a while and want a nice steady ride. We’ll always ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind. We really welcome newcomers to our rides.


It's a good idea to bring some water and you may also want to bring a snack if you think your energy levels may need topping up along the way. Wearing a helmet is advisable, though not essential. Please bring some money if you want to buy refreshments. Lots of spots to stop for a rest & quick drink, but facilities are available in Stony Stratford at the start & finish.

    Being a Breeze Leader is a great opportunity to share my hobbie with others, just to get more of us moving more often & most importantly enjoying it...Tea & cake is an essential part of any bike ride! The more sociable the better.

    I am currently studying Physiotherapy fulltime & do some personal training & teach Pilates when I have time.

    As well as cycling, I love climbing & yoga.
