Women only Breeze Rides are all about fun, friendly, informal bike rides led by women, for women. They're ideal for all abilities and are great for building confidence and getting some gentle exercise. You might not have ridden a bike for a while and be looking for the easiest way to get back in the saddle, or be looking for a sociable way of getting out and about in your local area. Breeze rides are gently-paced, not too long, and often take in a stop for coffee or a cake. Kids are welcome to come along too.

Come along for a pre-Christmas bike ride! I promise the ride will be better than the singing!


After a quick bike check we'll head out of the car park towards Great Tey where we follow some lovely country roads.


This will be a gentle 6 mile ride where we only come across one hill and we can get off and walk if we need to.  We always ride at a pace that everyone is comfortable at.


Towards the end of the ride we will stop at Poplar nursery for coffee and cake (or mince pie and mulled wine if you prefer - not too much though, you still have to ride back!) following which we'll head back to Marks Tey car park.


Bring a drink if you wish and wear clothing suitable for the weather; layers are advisable and maybe a waterproof in case of rain.  Helmets are a good idea, but if you don't have one you can still take part.

  • Zoe Repman Zoe Repman Everyone in my family is a keen cyclist and we look for every opportunity to get out on our bikes, whether travelling to work, getting muddy on a mountain bike trail or simply out for the day - getting there by bike is so much more fun!

    I would love for more people, particularly women, to enjoy getting out on their bikes too, whether for fun, fitness, get-togethers with like-minded women, or all three!

    If you haven't been on a Breeze ride before, why not give it a go? We offer various ride lengths and speeds, so choose one to suit. Rides are friendly, sociable events; new and returning riders are very welcome.
