1 hours 40 mins  (1 hours 0 mins cycling)
Bike Type You probably don’t want to drag your road bike across bumpy trails. Maybe you want to make the most of the suspension on your mountain bike. This helps you match your ride to your bike.

Meet the Ride Leaders

  • Steve Jones Steve Jones My name is Steve and since taking up cycling to get fit, I've really been bitten by the bug. I now regularly commute the 46 miles to London and back and ride most weekends. I've joined a cycling club and I'm looking forward to my first summer of Sportive road rides. I decided to become a SkyRide leader to help others discover the joys of cycling. If you come along on a SkyRide you may even make some cycling buddies as I have, with whom I now ride on a regular basis.
  • Warren Ward Warren Ward Have been on a bike since i was 3.
Have raced MTB's in the 90's, now ride both MTB and road. Love riding with others and passing on the skills and routes that i have. Have met some great people on my rides and know it will continue.
  • Philip Woolford Philip Woolford This is my fifth year as a Skyride Leader. I have been a keen leisure cyclist since my daughters learnt to ride their first bikes. More recently I started commuting to work by bike and became interested in the world of competitive cycling, even volunteering as a marshall for the Tour de France. I became a Sky Ride Leader and route planner five years ago – ‘I like to add something different to my rides, a little shortcut or a piece of local history, so that all my participants have a thoroughly good time.’
