Breeze Bike Rides in Bromsgrove

Follow SUSTRANS route 5 through Bromsgrove to Catshill, a gentle ride with an opportunity to negotiate a short section of town traffic with guidance.  


This gentle ride is perfect for beginners and anyone who’s not been on a bike for a while. We really welcome newcomers to our rides; we will always ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind.


It's a good idea to bring some water and you may also want to bring a snack if you think your energy levels may need topping up.  Dress appropriately for the weather: in cold weather it's good to wear lots of thin layers, so you can add/remove them as needed; a pair of warm gloves and warm socks may also be useful.

  • Janet Steel Janet Steel Hello, I didn't get on a bike until in my twenties and then started using one to go a short journey to work, I started exploring Sustrans routes with a friend and eventually joined a cycling club which is a great way to meet people and explore the countryside as well as improve as a cyclist. I now enjoy teaching bikeability and encouraging anyone to get going on their bike.
  • Catherine Maguire Catherine Maguire I'm an oldie, technologically challenged but still cycling having used a bike all my life for shopping, carrying children and general transport.
    Not interested in racing at all, but keen to get more women and girls out on bikes as a means of empowerment and to help cut fossil fuel use.
    I'm also keen to extend areas cycled by combining bike and train, and to campaign for better bike provision on trains.
