Women only
Breeze Rides are all about fun, friendly, informal bike rides led by women, for women. They're ideal for all abilities and are great for building confidence and getting some gentle exercise. You might not have ridden a bike for a while and be looking for the easiest way to get back in the saddle, or be looking for a sociable way of getting out and about in your local area. Breeze rides are gently-paced, not too long, and often take in a stop for coffee or a cake. Kids are welcome to come along too.

Breeze Bike Rides in Bradford
Details
Cut down on your heating bills by getting out on your bike this week. Visit Otley's charity shops and cut down on your Christmas present bill too! Bring your panniers or a backpack, just in case.
This ride takes the back road route from Ilkley to Otley. The road follows the River Wharfe for a way out of Ilkley, goes through the villages of Asquith and Weston, then down into Otley where it crosses the Wharfe at Wharfemeadows Park on Bridge Street. There are some great views and usually some red kites to be seen circling above the fields in Asquith, on the look-out for prey.
When we get to Otley we'll have a mooch around the many charity shops (being careful of course not to overload our bikes!) We'll leave town via North Parade, taking a look at an interesting bit of topiary en route ;-) We will have a cafe stop either in Otley itself, or at the Cockpit Farm Tea Rooms in Weston - www.cockpitfarmtearooms.co.uk/ - returning to Ilkley along the same route. This is around trip of about 14 miles.
This is a road ride and although it isn't a busy road the ride does involve dealing with some traffic so you need to have some experience of riding on the road, although you'll have the support of the Leader and group. This is Yorkshire and there are hills, but you can always get off and walk! On Breeze rides we always go at the speed of the slowest person so you won't be left behind!
All women are welcome on this ride, including newcomers to Breeze rides.
What to bring
You need to have a bike that its in good working order and to dress appropriately for the weather: several thin layers are good, so you can add/remove them as needed; a shower-proof jacket might come in handy too! Wearing a helmet is advisable. Please bring some water and a snack to top up your energy levels.
