Sky Ride

Sky Ride City events are big free bike rides where everyone’s invited – however you ride.

Sky Ride Local rides are fun, free community bike rides that offer a great way of getting out and exploring your local area and meeting like-minded people.

The Breeze network from British Cycling is all about fun, local bike rides for women, by women – and there’s a whole range of support and training too.

Social Cycling Groups is a new programme that encourages people to get together, find a place to ride and enjoy a bike ride at a level and time that suits you.

What is a Sky Ride Local ride?

We're bringing hundreds of Sky Ride Local rides to locations across the UK this year as part of our campaign to get a million more people on their bikes by 2013. Sky Ride Locals are free small, weekly community bike rides that give you a chance to get out and explore your local area with family and friends. They’re led by a British Cycling trained ride leader who's on hand to provide support and give you a few tips on how to improve your cycling, whatever your age or ability.
