Cycling fans from around the UK and Europe will flock to London this October for the Bicycle Film Festival's ninth season in London, to celebrate the worlds best invention: the bicycle.
With British cyclists’ continued success at the highest level inspiring a nation to get on their bikes, it's the perfect opportunity for everyone to embrace cycling as a sport and lifestyle choice.
Feature film highlights include the world premiere of Line of Sight by legendary cycling cinematographer Lucas Brunelle, and an incredible showcase of two of the best road cycling films from Ireland, including a documentary telling the story of one of Ireland's greatest sporting institutions: the Rás Tailteann cycling race.
The Festival will also play host to a diverse program of events, including a Rollapaluza Roller Race, the annual Bike Polo Tournament, a BMX jam, and a Cycling Symposium, presented in collaboration with Transport for London, with debates, discussions and presentations about the future of cycling in London.
'Bike Share. Wiggins! Team GB Cyclists!' says Brendt Barbur, global festival director. 'This is the biggest year ever for cycling in London and the world.'
