Sky Ride City events are big free bike rides where everyone’s invited – however you ride.

Sky Ride Local rides are fun, free community bike rides that offer a great way of getting out and exploring your local area and meeting like-minded people.

The Breeze network from British Cycling is all about fun, local bike rides for women, by women – and there’s a whole range of support and training too.

Social Cycling Groups is a new programme that encourages people to get together, find a place to ride and enjoy a bike ride at a level and time that suits you.

Sky Ride Local rides are perfect for family days out – wherever you are.

There are hundreds of these rides taking place around the country throughout the summer, and many actively welcome families and children. They're led by trained Ride Leaders who are always happy to check over your bike for you and give you a few tips about getting the most out of cycling. They're also a great way to get out and explore your local area on two wheels. Sky Ride Locals which are designated 'Ride Easy' are perfect for families with small children.
