Meet Dan at Sky Ride Bradford

Joining us at Sky Ride Bradford this Sunday? It’s a great chance to find out more about cycling for fun in and around Bradford. Pop to the Bike Cafe and chat to Dan Goodey, British Cycling’s Recreational Cycling Manager for Yorkshire.
Dan is working with the local council and community groups to promote chances to ride across the area. He'll be happy to answer questions about joining a cycling club, finding out about bike maintenance, the Breeze network of women-only rides, Go-Ride and Go-Ride Racing for young people, as well as how you can join British Cycling.
A keen rider himself, Dan tries to commute to meetings, as well as cycling on lanes and paths around his West Yorkshire home. Recently he joined local Ride Leaders at an event to promote the campaign at Leeds Bradford airport.
Dan says: "Bradford is really getting behind the campaign to get a million more people into bike riding. The Sky Ride event is great for the city, and a brilliant chance to get together. The event is just one part of our campaign to get a million more people riding their bikes regularly by 2013. I’d be delighted to chat to anyone interested in riding their bike more often.
