Loads to do at Sky Ride Kent

Having a laugh
Sky Ride Kent on Sunday 27 May is going to be a great opportunity to join in a huge traffic-free bike ride and explore an amazing new venue – but even if you don't want to join the ride, there's plenty to do on the day.

There'll be a range of entertainment at Cyclopark from 10.00am until 4.00pm for everyone who wants to enjoy the atmosphere without getting on a bike.

With street music, circus entertainers, BMX demonstrations, mountain biking, great food and a fantastic playground for kids, there's loads for the whole family to do. There'll also be bikes for hire, a cycle-powered cinema and cycle themed computer games. It's also a great chance to explore this brand new venue for mountain biking, road cycling, and skate boarding – all set within a beautiful landscaped park.

There'll also be a chance for youngsters to have a go at racing their bikes. Go-Ride Racing is British Cycling's exciting entry level competition programme which offers local competition for novice cyclists under the age of 16, helping young people make a gradual transition into competitive cycling. There'll be free races taking place throughout the day at Sky Ride Kent, and they're all aimed at novice racing cyclists.

Don't forget if you'd like to join the ride, you can register for free here and be in with a chance of winning some great prizes.

Please note there is no parking at Cyclopark on the day so please follow the signs for free parking at Gravesham Borough Council car parks.
