Loads to do at Sky Ride Hull

Sky Ride Hull on Sunday 19 August is going to be a great opportunity to join in a huge traffic-free bike ride – but even if you don't want to join the ride, there's plenty to do on the day.
There'll be a range of entertainment at Queen Victoria Square, the Marina and the Humber Street area from 10.00am until 3.00pm for everyone who wants to enjoy the atmosphere without getting on a bike.
With Cycling Polo demonstrations at the Humber Street area, Dr Bike at the Marina and the brilliant Bob's Bikes in Queen Victoria Square there's loads for the whole family to do. There’ll also be Beech Holme Tandem Club, music, The Deep, a forest style track to ride your bike round in Trinity Square, a children's BMX area, fun bikes for anyone to come and try and a pedal powered scalextrix and samba music to accompany your ride and even a magician.
There'll also be a chance for youngsters to get a real taste for racing their bikes. Go-Ride Racing is British Cycling's exciting entry level competition programme, helping young people under 16 make a gradual transition into competitive cycling. There'll be free races taking place throughout the day at Sky Ride Hull, aimed at novice racing cyclists.
