Loads to do at Sky Ride Bolton

Sky Ride Bolton on Sunday 16 September is going to be a great opportunity to join in a huge traffic-free bike ride – but even if you don't want to join the ride, there's plenty to do on the day.
There'll be a range of entertainment all around the route, with Activity Areas at Bolton Town Hall and Queens Park, from 10.00am until 4.00pm for everyone who wants to enjoy the atmosphere without getting on a bike.
With Jason Kenny, music, a climbing wall and loads of sports activities there's loads for the whole family to see and do. Cycling Projects will be on hand to promote accessible cycling for all. Also there will be a bike Cafe and the opportunity to get free bike repairs.
There'll also be a chance for youngsters to have a go at racing their bikes. Go-Ride Racing is British Cycling's exciting entry level competition programme which offers local competition for novice cyclists under the age of 16, helping young people make a gradual transition into competitive cycling. There'll be free races taking place throughout the day at Sky Ride Bolton, and they're all aimed at novice racing cyclists.
