Loads to do at Sky Ride Bath
Published 1 May 2012
Sky Ride Bath on Sunday 3 June is going to be a great opportunity to join in a huge traffic-free bike ride – but even if you don't want to join the ride, there's plenty to do on the day.
There'll be a range of entertainment at the Activation Area in the park in front of the Royal Crescent from 10.00am until 3.00pm for everyone who wants to enjoy the atmosphere without getting on a bike.
With live music, BMX demonstrations, a climbing wall, mountain biking, cycle magic, great food and a Bath Rugby Village, there's loads for the family to do. Also there are bikes for hire, a bike smoothy maker and an obstacle course.
There'll also be a chance for youngsters to have a go at racing their bikes. Go-Ride Racing is British Cycling's exciting entry level competition programme which offers local competition for novice cyclists under the age of 16, helping young people make a gradual transition into competitive cycling. There'll be free races taking place throughout the day at Sky Ride Bath, and they're all aimed at novice racing cyclists.
Don't forget if you'd like to join the ride, you can register for free here and be in with a chance of winning some great prizes.
The nearest car park to the Activation Area will be Charlotte Street.
