Keep track of your riding with Social Cycling Groups
Published 18 February 2013
It’s always nice to look back at where your bike has taken you: where did you go, how far did you ride and who joined you along the way? Unless you have a superb memory though, it’s easy to lose track of your rides and experiences.
Regular cyclist Jon (above centre) has found an easy way of keeping on top of his riding – using the UK’s biggest social network for cyclists. He and his friends like to head out for a bike ride around the Sheffield countryside most weekends. Jon said ‘I started using Social Cycling Groups to keep track of the rides we’ve done. Now we use it all the time to keep each other up to date about ideas for new routes and planning upcoming rides.’ With Social Cycling Groups you can also invite other local cyclists who have similar riding interests to join your bike rides. ‘This is great, the more people that join us, the more ideas for new rides and different routes we’ll have,’ said Jon.
It’s easy to create a ride, add a route and invite people to join you. And it’s totally free.
