How to get to Sky Ride Manchester

We've compiled some handy information to help you get to Sky Ride Manchester on Sunday 15 July.

There are several Social Cycling Group rides you can join that are heading to Sky Ride from different locations in Manchester. Simply enter your location into the Ride Finder, above, and find rides near you.
Joining Social Cycling Groups gives you access to lots of free local rides set up by cyclists in your area. You can even set up your own cycling group and arrange rides at a time and place to suit you. Want to arrange a ride to Sky Ride Manchester for your family and friends? Come and plan your journey.
We will be providing an opportunity for people to join an accompanied ride into Castlefield with a British Cycling Ride Leader. These rides will depart, from Whitworth Park, Oxford Road, Fallowfield, Manchester M13 9NL, at the following times 10.15am, 10.45am, 11.15am and 12.00pm. There is no car parking available at the park.
If you just want to cycle to the event on your own you can join the route at any point. Why not use one of the Transport for Manchester's cycling maps.
For non-cycling visitors, Manchester and surronding areas are well served by bus routes throughout the day. Take a look at the Transport for Manchester's bus page for more information.
If you are driving to Sky Ride Manchester you can park for FREE at the North Car Park at Manchester City Football Stadium, accessed from the Alan Turing Way and then join the route via Joe Mercer Way.
If you are coming by train there are a number of stations you can use. Take a look at Transport for Manchester's train page for the best option for you. Also make sure you check with the rail network you are travelling on that you are allowed to bring your bike.
