Sky Ride City events are big free bike rides where everyone’s invited – however you ride.

Sky Ride Local rides are fun, free community bike rides that offer a great way of getting out and exploring your local area and meeting like-minded people.

The Breeze network from British Cycling is all about fun, local bike rides for women, by women – and there’s a whole range of support and training too.

Social Cycling Groups is a new programme that encourages people to get together, find a place to ride and enjoy a bike ride at a level and time that suits you.

Go Ride Racing

If you're under sixteen and fancy having a go at racing bikes, why not check out Go-Ride Racing at Sky Ride Ipswich this weekend?

Part of British Cycling's Go-Ride programme, Go-Ride Racing offers young riders the opportunity to compete in a real race environment against cyclists of the same age and ability. It's great fun – and you'll get tips and advice from British Cycling coaches too. And if you enjoy it and want to get more involved, you can find out more about how to make the step up to open regional competition.

If you'd like to take part in Ipswich on Sunday, you don't have to register in advance and you don't need any special kit – just turn up on the day and look for the Go-Ride Racing area! See you there!
