Discover Glasgow's Waterscapes
Published 24 February 2012
A great chance to discover Glasgow's maritime and industrial heritage on this 15 mile city route.
A 15 mile ride with a distinctly watery theme, following the River Clyde, Forth and Clyde Canal and the River Kelvin. Mostly on traffic-free paths and taking full advantage of the excellent National Cycle Network Route 7, this route takes you past many points of interest, including the Tall Ship 'Glenlee', the Clydebank Play Drome, the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum and the Transport Museum. The ride uses mostly tarmac paths with other surfaces occasionally but is mostly flat.
